Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps on Android in Kuwait, Q4 2024

The fourth quarter of 2024 saw varied performances among the top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the Android platform in Kuwait. According to data from Sensor Tower, the following trends were observed:

• Careem: Rides, Food & more experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.2K and reaching a peak of 2.2K in early December. Weekly active users also rose steadily, from approximately 7.5K to 8.9K by the beginning of December.

• Uber - Request a ride showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at about 490 and ending the quarter at 533. The app maintained a stable base of weekly active users, ranging from 9.2K to a peak of 9.5K.

• inDrive. Rides with fair fares had a slight decline in weekly downloads over the quarter, beginning at 365 and dropping to 260. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 2.4K to 2.1K.

• Bolt: Request a Ride saw weekly downloads fluctuate slightly, with a low of 164 and a high of 250. The number of weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 1.3K and ending at 1.3K.

• Grab - Taxi & Food Delivery experienced a modest increase in weekly downloads, from 166 to a high of 196. The app's weekly active users also saw a rise, peaking at 5.3K towards the end of the quarter.
